The Detroit Red Wings had a rough night against the Anaheim Ducks, losing their third straight game by just one goal at Little Caesars Arena. Since Patrick Kane joined the team, things have went quite sour, out of seven games wearing the Detroit Red Wings jersey, Kane and the Red Wings have won one game, yes, the team is 1-6 in their last seven since acquiring Patrick Kane.

It somehow gets much worse for Kane and the Red Wings

But the challenges didn't stop there. Goalie Ville Husso and forward Klim Kostin both got hurt during the game. Husso got injured in the first period while making a crucial save, and Kostin took a heavy but clean hit from defenseman Radko Gudas.

The injury updates aren't promising, with both Husso and Kostin now officially listed as "week to week." To fill the goalie gap, especially with Alex Lyon already out until at least after Christmas, the Red Wings signed goaltender Michael Hutchinson.

Coach Lalonde acknowledged the setbacks, saying, «Obviously, a physical setback. Probably a mental setback. Like anyone else injured, you battle through it and get better and be ready to go when your time comes.»

The Red Wings are facing a tough situation, especially in goaltending, and Lalonde expressed the team's hope to see improvement day by day as they navigate this challenging period.

The recent struggles, combined with injuries, have cast a shadow over the team since the signing of Patrick Kane a few weeks ago, making their journey forward more uncertain.
