Pilote had a infamous career as a Blackhawk, but sadly passed away in 2017, many years ago in his hometown of Barrie Ontario, Canada. We still need to honor are legends, and never forget about them. Let's take a look at his career below.
One of the most decorated defensemen in NHL history, Pilote racked up 77 goals and 400 assists for 477 points in 821 regular-season games with the Blackhawks, and had eight goals and 52 assists for 60 points in 82 postseason contests. He is a three-time Norris Trophy winner (and a three-time runner-up), five-time first-team NHL All-Star, three-time second-team All-Star, and a 1961 Stanley Cup champion. Pilote was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 1975 and had his jersey jointly retired by the Blackhawks with Keith Magnuson in 2008.
