The Bo Horvat situation is Vancouver has been a weird one, nobody knows whether he is staying or going. The Boeser - Horvat rumours have run rampant.
An update came out of the wood work today, and it's being reported that the club did in fact offer their captain a new extension - and it wasn't a great one.
According to Frank Seravalli this is the contract they offered Horvat.
In addition to the numbers looking sadly low, Seravalli believes that there is a market out there for Horvat, and should anything come to fruition - the deal that could be reached makes the one that was offered look like a joke.
Should Horvat hit free agency, it's hard to imagine a world where he stays in Vancouver after being low-balled, if teams would be willing to throw nine million per season offers at the Canucks captain, who is one pace for 60-goals this season.
