REPORT: Blackhawks Top Defensive Prospect Involved in Large Trade
Blackhawks prospect Ethan Del Mastro has been traded to the Sarnia Sting from the Mississauga Steelheads in exchange for winger Porter Martone and a 2023 2nd round pick.
Del Mastro is fresh off of a gold medal win with Team Canada in this year's World Junior Tournament. Del Mastro had 3 assists in 7 games at the World Juniors and had 21 points in 22 games for Mississauga prior to the trade.
Del Mastro was drafted in the 4th round by Chicago in the 2021 draft and appears to be making his case to be a piece of the future for the Blackhawks.
