A Hall of fame NHL goaltender found himself in hot water during a QMJHL game over the weekend.

Former Montreal Canadien and Colorado Avalanche number one goaltender and three time Stanley Cup champion Patrick Roy was forced to leave junior hockey game, after quite the decision.

During a game against the Shawinigan Cataractes on Saturday, Remparts head coach Patrick Roy lost his cool over a missed call against Remparts Nathan Gaucher. Roy shouted at referee Nicolas Dutil, who left little room for the Quebec native Roy to respond, as he tossed him out of the game for his actions.

The pair of Roy and Dutil have somewhat of a history, as their had been prior horn-locking during game five of the 2022 presidents cup series. Roy also had a run in with another referee, Olivier Gouin, who called games three and five, while Dutil called game four. Dutil and Gouin worked the game in question, which Roy was ejected from.

Certainly Roy has had no issues maintaining his NHL reputation, years after his retirement from hockey.
