It's hard to believe we are just over one month to go before the start of the NHL season and a Norris Trophy winner is still unsigned.
That's the case for defenceman Pk Subban who was once considered a top five defenceman in the league but as of now, still no takers.
Subban has stated in the past he would love to return to Montreal where Subban played his best hockey of his career. However Subban has yet to get a call from the Habs as his agent Don Meehan would reveal,
While speaking to Jeremy Filosa of the Cogeco Network, Subban's agent Don Meehan confirmed that his client hasn't garnered any interest on the free agent market.
He writes:
"Je viens d'échanger des messages avec l'agent de @PKSubban1, toujours à la recherche d'un contrat. Il n'y a eu aucun contact à son sujet avec le @CanadiensMTL"
Translated to English:
"I just exchanged messages with the agent of @PKSubban1, still looking for a contract. There has been no contact about him with the @CanadiensMTL"
Last season with the Devils, Subban scored five goals with 17 assists, who ever does decide to acquire Subban will be getting him for cheap as it's believe Subban will take a one year $1 million dollar deal just to play this season.
