On this day in 2013 Chicago Blackhawks Win their second cup in four seasons the Chicago Blackhawks beat the Boston Bruins to the cup in game 7. With one of the most remarkable comebacks from being down 2-1 to scoring two goals in 17 seconds.

Boston was on home ice for game seven making it an all or nothing game. Having the home advantage, Bruins scored the first goal from Chris Kelly in the first period. Where Jonathan Toews tied it in the second period. And then in the third period Milan Lucic took the lead for the Bruins 12 minutes into the period. However Bryan Brickell tied it back up, and Dave Bolland took the cup with a goal 17 seconds later. Bollands goal was the latest Stanley Cup winning goal in a regulation game.

It was a night of sweet repeats for the Blackhawks as they had won the cup in 2010 against the Philadelphia Flyers. With familiar favorites of Marian Hossa, Patrick Kane, Duncan Keith, and captain Jonathan Toews on the ice. Toews scored the first goal of the game and went on to assist Brickell's goal in the third period. Sharp, while he didn't score in the last game, was the lead scorer for the season with 78 points in the season. As well as goalie Corey Crawford who played all 6 games of the series, and while he was just a rookie when the Blackhawks won their first cup he became a team player this season. Other notable newbies were Andrew Shaw, the right wing who scored 15 points during the season, and 9 points during the playoffs. Unlikely hero was Brandon Saad the rookie who went down the the AHL for the beginning of the season and rejoined to play 46 games and scored 27 points, as well as 6 in the playoffs

It was an impressive season for the Blackhawks, who were lucky to have kept so many players from the 2010 victory as well as adding a few more to put up the fight again for the cup.
