Memories of Marian Hossa
Marian Hossa debut with the Hawks on November 25th 2009, this writers 19th birthday. In the time he donned the sweater the memories came quick and often. I'll never forget almost hitting my head on a ceiling fan when he scored the winner in game 5 against Nashville in that season's playoffs. Nor will I forget a regular season contest against St. Louis in 2013 when he hit an empty netter from the far blue line. Fans often called him «demigod», but all cheered the moments when he finally got the cup monkey off his back.
Marian Hossa retiring as a Chicago Blackhawk and having his number retired by the team is as deserved as any other Hawk who ever existed (though one can argue Larmer deserves the honor as well). His contributions to three cups will never be forgotten.POLL | ||
