Without wanting to miss ice time, Connor Bedard decided to play in the tournament rather than stay in Chicago.
This year, Bedard has played a lot of hockey, but he has also found time to play roller hockey in between the draft and training camp.
Good news! The team made sure Bedard has a protector, 6'8" off ice, 200lb defenseman, Louis Crevier.
Every single time Bedard has touched the ice in Minnesota, Crevier has been on it.
As a physical and aggressive defender, Crevier was drafted in the 7th round, 188th overall in 2020. His size on the ice allows him to be an effective shutdown defenseman.
Crevier would be the one to make a prospect on the Wild answer the bell if one had to.
