Connor Bedard On His New Home: It's Intense
There are so many things that Connor Bedard is learning about his new home, which will be Chicago, and where he will reside for the next three years, and hopefully for a long time to come.
According to Bedard, the differences between Vancouver, BC and Chicago are as different as night and day.
Connor Bedard on what he's learned about Chicago so far: «The drivers are kinda intense here.»
Despite finding solace in the mentorship of Nick Foligno, who has already gone above and beyond to welcome the rookie to the league, he will still need to adjust to something else in Chicago, which is the traffic.
According to a survey conducted in 2022, Vancouver drivers were found to be the most safest in Canada.
Cities with the least dangerous drivers:
Vancouver - 39%
Calgary - 38%
Winnipeg - 36%
As a result, Bedard received a huge wake-up call. In 2023, he will need to learn how to deal with Chicago's traffic, which he has called "Intense".
There is no doubt that Chicago has the worst traffic in America, according to a study that was done in 2023, so Bedard is not far off from his statement. In order for Bedard to be able to deal with the challenging traffic of Chicago in the future, he must be prepared
