Chicago Blackhawks And Vancouver Canucks Ready to Complete Blockbuster Trade
For quite some time, the Vancouver Canucks have been looking for a trade partner for forward Conor Garland.
With two rebuilding teams looking for talent, one being the Chicago Blackhawks, the other the Washington Capitals, will a deal be done?
Garland could be a huge help to Connor Bedard on offense, and Chicago has plenty of assets to move.
Being a veteran winger, he can also function as a leader when needed.
As Garland's cap hit is $4.95 million, AAV over the next five years, the question is, will Davidson absorb the cost of acquiring Garland and assets in what would be a cap dump, or will he trade away futures for Garland?
In 81 games with the Vancouver Canucks last season, Garland scored 17 goals and had 29 assists for 46 points.
Any team can use depth scoring like Garland provides, especially if they produce at that rate.
