Blackhawks coach reveals his player may have to be kicked out of the NHL
Known as a pest and former Stanley Cup champion, he played for the Dallas Stars, Montreal Canadiens, and Tampa Bay Lightning.
Like many other Blackhawks players, Corey Perry is reviving his career in the windy city.
Perry has provided great leadership to young players and rookies such as Connor Bedard, Lukas Reichel, and Kevin Korchinski this season.
Currently on a 52 point pace with the Hawks on the Hawks 3rd line, Perry has scored 4 goals and 5 assists for 9 points in 14 games for the Hawks.
Luke Richardson doesn't think he's ready to leave the NHL yet, and we should be thankful for that.
Luke Richardson on Corey Perry, who's on pace for 52 points: "I think you're going to have to kick him out of the league. I don't think he'll ever leave willingly. He's not ready to go yet." #Blackhawks
Richardson jokingly made a statement that he will have to be forced off the NHL ice, but at this rate who wouldn't want the pest on their team's roster?
