Blackhawks YouTube show shines the spotlight on Big Al
One of the new trends in the NHL is the behind-the-scenes footage fans never see for many decades. Thanks to YouTube, the team decided to create episodes to give fans a glimpse of the team's future and how they conduct their business.
The Blackhawks, have their show called Every Shift and in their newest episode they focused on Blackhawks prospect Big Al otherwise known as
Nolan Allan.
Allan, who plays defense was drafted in the 2021 NHL Entry Draft first round, 32nd overall. At the age of 20 years old, he holds a six foot two frame and 195 pounds.
He currently plays for the Seattle Thunderbirds who are in the WHL and during this season he played 41 games with seven goals and 9 assists for 16 points, he holds 40 penalty minutes and is a + 27.
According to Elite Prospects, he's known as an NHL-caliber skater and has all the basics needed to become an NHL defenseman.
