Blackhawks fan favorite and local legend Scott Foster returned to Chicago today for practice after goaltender Alex Stalock was forced to miss practice due to a non-covid illness.
The legend of Scott Foster was born when he was forced into the Blackhawks game against the Winnipeg Jets after Corey Crawford left the game with a concussion that eventually ended his season. Foster came in relief in the third period, playing roughly 14 minutes and stopping all 7 shots he faced to preserve a Blackhawks victory.
With the Blackhawks thin at the goaltender position, it is uncertain if Foster will be with Chicago or if this is just a practice fill in for the team.
