BREAKING: Gary Bettman Cancels Blackhawks Game After Tragedy
Breaking news for the Chicago Blackhawks: Tonight's game against the Buffalo Sabres has been rescheduled due to severe weather conditions in the greater Buffalo area.
The National Hockey League has officially announced the postponement of Game #691, originally set to feature the Buffalo Sabres hosting the Chicago Blackhawks.
This comes after tragedy, three passings in Buffalo following a severe storm:
This game will now take place tomorrow, Thursday, January 18, at 7 p.m. ET. The decision is a result of travel restrictions in Buffalo.
In light of these changes, Game #689, initially scheduled between the Detroit Red Wings and the Florida Panthers at 7 p.m. ET tonight, will now be nationally broadcast on TNT in the U.S.
Additionally, fans in Detroit and Florida can catch the action locally on Bally Sports Detroit and Bally Sports Florida.
Stay tuned for updates as the teams adjust to the unexpected scheduling shift.
