For those who call Chicago home, the answer is very encouraging, since the Buffalo native has called Chicago home for the last 16 years.
After his trade, it came out that Kane didn't want to be traded and would have loved to be a Blackhawk for life.
A notion, Kyle Davidson could've entertained to keep Kane rostered on a hometown discount.
Kyle Davidson ignored Kane's goals and feelings when it came down to it.
However, there is always hope that Kaner will sign here to retire with the Chicago Blackhawks, the team that gave him his first NHL home.
This season, Kane has averaged a point per game for the Red Wings, playing 26 games with 11 goals and 15 assists.
Just imagine the combination of Kane and Bedard in the NHL.
