He would later sign a 2-year deal with the Blackhawks, for $4.5 Million AAV, a $9 Million total contract value.

His original contract $4 Million, but there's been a rumor that for Foligno to take on a leadership role, which includes mentoring Connor Bedard there's been a little bit of a sweetener added to the contract as a result.

The addition of Foligno has been one of Davidson's best off-season moves, as he strives to hold the team accountable and be a foundation for future superstar Connor Bedard.

It's obvious he has great chemistry with Bedard and has been what Davidson has expected of him and more, as he is capable of playing in all situations and slot in, up and down the lineup as well.

In 74 games this season, Nick Foligno has 37 points( 17 G, 20 A) with the Chicago Blackhawks.

He has served as Luke Richardson's de-facto captain and swiss army knife this season.
