The 2025 Winter Classic will take place on December 31st, 2024 and the Chicago Blackhawks, and St. Louis Blues once again reignite their rivalry born in 1967.
The last time the two met in the Winter Classic was in 2017 at Busch Stadium and this time around, there will be Connor Bedard at the helm of the Hawks.
But teams debut their jerseys used for their event yearly, which is a spectacle in itself, as we see the team reinvented once more. The logo is given a new life, and today we get to see the goalies reinvent themselves once more.
The Blackhawks goalies have debuted their helmets, and pads which usher in a look that calls back to "old-time hockey" of brown pads, and felt logos, with a classic feel.
The goalie's setups will look sick when we see them in battle against the St. Louis Blues.
One of their masks has baseball stitching on the side, obviously to symbolize the game being played at Wrigley Field, with the sick winter classic logo that adorns the Blackhawks uniforms this season.
While the pads are colored brown, and the lettering has a feel that calls back to the classic-era of the game, along with the "C" with two axes on one pad.
All in all, a classic look for, for a game that is sure to be classic as we see Connor Bedard, and Jordan Kyrou battle it out on the ice.
While we're privileged to see Jim Montgomery and Anders Sorensen's genius collide as the rivals battle it out once more.
The Blackhawks are 1-5-0 in their last 6 outdoor games and 1-1-0 at home.
