Blackhawks could reportedly consider these two targets to replace Lukas Reichel
According to a new report, the Chicago Blackhawks organization could consider targeting two players on the trade market to replace Lukas Reichel.
The 23-year-old German forward spent five years in the Blackhawks organization, and although he struggled to perform with consistency since entering the league, he showed flashes of talent that he will look to bring to Vancouver.
The Hawks already have a deep prospect pool, but with Reichel gone, a lot of cap space, and a quite surprising start to the season, the team could be on the lookout to add more depth this season.
Two Trade Targets Emerge as Lukas Reichel Replacement Options in Chicago
According to a new report from The Hockey News, Nick Robertson of the Toronto Maple Leafs and Columbus Blue Jackets'
Yegor Chinakhov could be interesting targets for the Blackhawks.
Robertson hasn't really found his rhythm in Toronto. After five years in the organization and a string of yearly deals, his time with the Leafs appears to be close to ending.
"My understanding is that the player's new agent, Rick Komarow, has permission from the Blue Jackets to talk directly to teams.
Chinakhov changed agents last month, but that hasn't lessened his desire to get traded out of Columbus. The original trade request came after last season, when he was scratched several games down the stretch."
Robertson and Chinakhov could be interesting to see in Chicago after a fresh start, but I think Davidson is more likely to target more seasoned veterans or players who can have a bigger impact on the lineup.
