Mark Wahlberg Adds Salt to The Wound After The Blackhawks Trade Away Max Domi

The Chicago Blackhawks made a trade that disappointed a lot of fans and myself included trading our boy Max Domi to the Dallas Stars at the trade deadline.

One person that seemed to be extremely hyped of the Domi trade was Mark Wahlberg. The famous Hollywood movie star has done it all when it comes to entertainment, starring in some of the best movies of all time.

Wahlberg, a fan of all things Boston sports, donned a home green Dallas Stars jersey on Friday, the day of the 2023 NHL Trade Deadline.

His close friend Max Domi was traded to the Stars by the Chicago Blackhawks on Thursday for goalie Anton Khudobin and a second-round pick in the 2025 NHL Draft.

Wahlberg wasted no time, pulling on a Stars No. 18 jersey and talking up his boy.

"These guys got Max Domi down here in Dallas. We're in trouble. This kid's on fire," Wahlberg said in a video shared by the Stars. "My bro! That's my little brother. Max, I'm so proud of you brother. Wow Dallas you guys just inherited a warrior. A beast."

Wahlberg became friends with Max's father former NHL tough guy Tie Domi when Domi was a New York Ranger

Wahlberg has always been supportive of Max Domi, sharing congrats on the forward's first NHL contract and goal. When Max was acquired by the Montreal Canadiens, Wahlberg took to social media to share his excitement, even using the hashtag "family."
