The former Chicago Blackhawk and soon to be Ottawa Senator, Alex DeBrincat, has been all over trade rumours since the Trade Deadline last season.

Sportsnet Insider Elliotte Friedman says all the teams in on Alex DeBrincat have a very secretive GM, meaning it is harder to get inside information.

Those 3 GM's being Lou Lamoriello (New York Islanders), Steve Yzerman (Detroit Red Wings) and Pat Verbeek (Anaheim Ducks).

Elliotte Friedman was led to believe that the Anaheim Ducks were the front runner at some point, but things have died down as it doesn't make too much sense right now. Elliotte also added, that the Red Wings are definitely in the mix, it is within striking distance for GM Steve Yzerman and the Red Wings.

At 25-years-old, the right winger has 450 games under his belt with 373 points. He had a career high season in his last year with Chicago in 2021-22, scoring 41 goals, 37 assists, 78 points across 82 games played.

The rumours continue on where Alex DeBrincat will ultimately land, but the Islanders, Red Wings, and Ducks are the main three to keep an eye on.
