The NHL is set to return to play after this weekend's NHL All-Star festivities, many team's are expected to be busy looking at what moves to make ahead of March 3rd's NHL trade deadline day.
One General Manager who's believed to be extremely busy is the Chicago Blackhawks GM Kyle Davidson, as Davidson continues his tanking for Connor Bedard. Davidson has already made it clear he's open for business and the names expected to be dealt are Jonathan Toews, Patrick Kane (if he decides to avoid surgery, Jake McCabe and Max Domi.
However, according to Hockey Insider Frank Seravalli there's another Blackhawk getting plenty of attention and that's forward Sam Lafferty. Seravalli would share:
"If You're looking for a player who may bring a surprising return at the deadline, it might be Blackhawks Sam Lafferty.
Speed to burn, Quality penalty killer, Term on contract. Inexpensive cap hit. The Hawks have a diamond in the rough."
