After winning the Stanley Cup with the Chicago Blackhawks in 2010, Dustin Byfuglien finished his career with the expansion Winnipeg Jets.
After an indefinite leave of absence and failure to report to training camp, Byfuglien and the Jets will agree to mutual contract termination in April 2020.
In the meantime, the Minnesota native has found a new profession.
With his move into the Classic Bass Champions Tour, he has become a competitive fisherman.
This isn't Byfuglien's first tour with Classic Bass Champions, according to the website.
Apparently Byfuglien is a competitive fisher now. Good for him
According to the site, he has been touring with them for six years running. In other words, it appears that he has found his new permanent home as a competitive bass fisherman, post-hockey.
