Brad Marchand Tells a Reporter to ''Shut Your Pie Hole'' As He Defends Trevor Zegras

Without a question, forward Trevor Zegras of the Anaheim Ducks is one of the most promising young players in the NHL right now. Zegras, however, has faced criticism from other players in the League because of statements he reportedly made during Saturday night's game against the Arizona Coyotes.

Zegras was accused of bringing up Troy Stecher, a defenseman with the Coyotes, deceased father. Stecher was understandably enraged, as he had never been and many noticed that. Zegras pointed to the sky and looked to say something about his father.

Zegras has since denied ever saying anything along those lines, but it was evident from the video that he said something that incited Stecher's outrage in a way that had never been witnessed before. Stecher was also seen explaining what Zegras allegedly stated to players from both teams, and it's deemed ''crossing the line'', but they refuse to reveal what was said.

After the game, an Anaheim Ducks reporter by the name of Craig Morgan would seem to come to Zegras' defence with a tweet saying:

"I can confirm via the Coyotes that Anaheim Ducks forward Trevor Zegras did not say anything about Troy Stecher's father during the dust-up last night. But per a team source, he crossed the line with something very in appropriate, Stecher has declined to comment on this topic."

- Craig Morgan

Boston Bruins Forward Brad Marchand replied to Morgan on Twitter saying simply

"Shut your Pie Hole Craig" - Brad Marchand

We hope this isn't what Zegras really said, but if so you can sure expect a heated matchup the next time these two teams matchup.
