Alex DeBrincat isn't the biggest guy on the ice, but he surely isn't afraid to throw his body around or stick up for himself in the heat of the moment. During Tuesday night's game against the Detroit Red Wings, DeBrincat had enough of Moritz Seider's actions and stood up for himself.

DeBrincat was in a board battle fighting for a puck and took multiple checks from behind by Seider. DeBrincat stood up and immediately went after Seider, even though he gives up about 6 inches in height and at least 40 pounds. DeBrincat doesn't drop the gloves often, but he as had some memorable post whistle scraps in Chicago.

The Senators and Alex DeBrincat haven't had the season they thought they would have, but are still in slim contention for a wild card spot. DeBrincat has 19 goals and 31 assists in 59 games for Ottawa this season. His offensive production has dipped in an adjustment year, but the fire he plays the game with hasn't waivered one bit.
