It appears as if the Edmonton Oilers window to a Stanley Cup could be ending, as many will flee the ship, as a result of a salary cap crunch.
GM Ken Holland did his best, and he did put a team worth of a Stanley Cup finals appearance on ice. But they couldn't finish the job at the end of it all.
According to SportsBetting.Ag's website the odd's have opened for people to bet on where
Leon Draisaitl will land next.
And for many teams, there are many underdogs who aren't favored to win the talents of Draisaitl.
It appears the Boston Bruins have +300 odds, then the Chicago Blackhawks have +500 odds, which means both teams are really the underdogs in this scenario, as neither team are likely to sign Leon Draisaitl if, ever.
Betting odds for Leon Draisaitl's next team if he leaves the #Oilers, per SportsBetting.AG
1. Boston Bruins (+300)
2. Chicago Blackhawks (+500)
3. Carolina Hurricanes (+700)
4. Detroit Red Wings (+900)
5. Los Angeles Kings (+1200)
6. Tampa Bay Lightning (+1200)
7. Philadelphia Flyers (+1400)
8. Pittsburgh Penguins (+1400)
9. Vegas Golden Knights (+1500)
10. San Jose Sharks (+1600)
11. Colorado Avalanche (+2000)
12. Minnesota Wild (+2500)
13. New Jersey Devils (+2500)
14. New York Rangers (+2500)
15. Winnipeg Jets (+2800)
Needless to say the odds would not be in your favor, you would make your money back plus more if Draisaitl would make the decision to play in the Windy City.
Your money is best saved for a parlay on Bedard next season, where it'll actually pay out.
For now, don't hold your breath on Drai's arrival in Chicago.
In 2023-2024, Draisaitl scored 106 points( 41 G, 65 A) in 81 games, with the Edmonton Oilers.
Talks are picking up where Draisaitl plays next, more as the story developes.
