NHL Department of Player Safety Expected to Investigate Brutal Incident in Game 2 of Oilers vs Golden Knights

Game 2 between the Oilers and Vegas Golden Knights on Thursday night was a classic showing by Edmonton's stars Leon Draisaitl and Connor McDavid, who combined for the overtime winning goal in a 5-4 win.

The two teams have developed a rich hatred for each other throughout the past few years, as they seemingly meet in the playoffs each season, and another layer of the competitiveness was added on Thursday that may lead to the first major suspension of this years NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs.
