The Golden Knights beat the Edmonton Oilers 4-3 in a thrilling Game 3 on Saturday, but Vegas ultimately took the loss with two sudden injuries.

Heartbreak struck the Edmonton Oilers on Saturday night in Game 3, just moments after Connor McDavid tied the game with 3:02 on the clock.
With time winding down in regulation and Rogers Place ecstatic, fans in attendance believed that the Oilers forced overtime, until Stuart Skinner returned to his old form by leaving the net wide open.
Despite the dramatic ending to the game, two other incidents are catching the headlines.

Tomas Hertl strikes Golden Knights trainer with his stick on the bench

Golden Knights forward Hertl would end up slamming his stick in outrage on the bench, while striking the trainer in the head.

Mark Stone injury update from head coach Bruce Cassidy

This wasn't the only injury Vegas suffered in this game, as team captain Mark Stone left the game with an injury after losing an edge and diving into Corey Perry feet in the first period.
This play was quite similar to when Stone took a 'fumble' and injured Stars defenseman Miro Heiskanen earlier in the regular season, which has left him rehabbing and out of play till this day.
Bruce Cassidy was not able to provide the media with an injury update during his post-game press conference, but said he will be evaluated.
