A funny scene is causing a stir around the hockey world following footage surfacing of a hockey fan attempting to bribe an NHL referee with cold hard cash during Saturday night's San Jose Sharks vs New York Islanders game.

With the NHL trade deadline concluding on March 7, fans and teams dealt with plenty of stress throughout the day, wondering if their team would see players exiting or joining their organization.
Several moves caught many off guard, including Brad Marchand being traded to the Florida Panthers, proving a stern reminder that the NHL is solely a business, no matter how much of a fan-favorite you are.
In the wake of seriousness, laughs are needed, and that's what made its rounds around the web on Saturday night when a fan was caught attempting to bribe an NHL official during a goal review when the Sharks faced off against the Islanders.
The game stopped in the second period following a goal review, which would ultimately end up being deemed no goal, but a fan did everything in his power to change that, have a look:
NHL insider Elliotte Friedman definitely spotted it!

This funny moment is part of the game, despite the seriousness - the laughing moments will always tend to shine through and go viral.
