The Chicago Blackhawks and general manager Stan Bowman made an interesting roster move over the weekend. Bowman will sign goalie prospect Ivan Nalimov to a PTO so he can play with the Rockford IceHogs of the AHL. Nalimov was the Hawks 2014 sixth round pick and has spent the last couple of years playing in the KHL. He spent this year with Sochi HC and registered a 7-14-1 record along with a 2.50 goals against average and .911 save percentage. «He's got a ton of talent,» Bowman said then. «He's a big guy, so as a goaltender that's sort of the No. 1 thing. You can't only be big, but when you're that size and you've got mobility, he's not just tall, he's a big man. I think as a result he covers a lot of the net just standing there.» The Hawks need to make big decisions when it comes to the goalie situations this summer with Corey Crawford UFA and Malcolm Subban RFA and only Collin Delia and Matt Tomkins signed through the whole system.
