BREAKING Hawks Place Three Players On IR.

"The Chicago Blackhawks and general manager Stan Bowman made a couple of roster announcements on Thursday. After saying he had an announcement to make regarding defenseman Brent Seabrook yesterday, Bowman followed that up on Thursday. Seabrook is among three players placed on injured reserve. Centers Jonathan Toews and Kirby Dach were placed on long term injured reserve. While Dach is likely gone for the season, plenty of question marks still surround Toews and all we know now is that he'll miss at least 10 games.

The Blackhawks have moved Kirby Dach (wrist) and Jonathan Toews (illness) to long-term injured reserve. Dach is likely out for the season, but this means Toews will miss at least 10 games and 24 days. Brent Seabrook (lower back, officially) remains on regular IR.
