Kevin Korchinski was drafted 7th overall in last year's draft. He is only 19, but has been showing a lot of upside, having three assists in 11 games.
Well, tonight, he scored his first NHL goal.
Korchinski shot the puck from around the blue line. It then bounced off of Darren Raddysh's skate and into the net.
Even though it was a little wonky, it still counts. This goal happens to be extra special, as his mom is in attendance. This is an extra stride for Korchinski to become the #1 defenseman on the Blackhawks in the future.
