Artemi Panarin fit like a glove with Patrick Kane on his other wing, and during the Blackhawks power play time.
It was almost seeming like Kane + Panarin, was the new duo over Kane + Toews.
Unfortunate move for the Blackhawks, Panarin was traded along with forward Tyler Motte to Columbus for their past fan-favourite player Brandon Saad, and current backup goaltender Anton Forsberg.
Nobody in the Chicago sports fan base really ever understood this deal, but it is good to see Kane and Panarin are good friends outside of the Blackhawks.
