The next Chicago Blackhawk to be traded has been revealed
The Chicago Blackhawks have been actively rebuilding their team this season, trading away key players like Patrick Kane and Jake McCabe to acquire draft picks and prospects.
One player who has drawn recent attention is defenseman Connor Murphy. With his shutdown abilities and defensive skills, Murphy would be a valuable asset for any team in need.
He has a $4.4 million cap hit for the next three seasons and recorded 13 points in 80 games this season.
Standing at 6 foot 4 and 212 pounds, Murphy's physical presence would pose challenges for opponents. While it would be unfortunate to see him leave the Blackhawks, a trade for more draft picks in the 2024 NHL draft seems likely as the trade deadline approaches.
