The Detroit Red Wings Make Another Steal of a Signing
The Detroit Red Wings, and GM Steve Yzerman agreed to the terms of a three-year contract extension, worth an aav of $1,825 million, for the 2018 sixth overall selection.
The former Halifax Moosehead spent one season in the QMJHL, before entering the NHL Draft as an 18-year-old.

Having the option to deploy Zadina one one line, and Lucas Raymond on the other surrounded by the rest of genius GM Yzerman's prospect pool of talent. Zadina has yet to break out, but with a surrounding forward group that the Wings have gathered he is deemed to next season, and this contract will look very good if he can do so.
