It's not uncommon for superstars in major professional sports leagues to have bodyguards protecting the team's assets.
These players represent various aspects of the organization, including their lives, aspirations for potential championships, and the substantial revenue that will accumulate as these superstars continue to improve and build a fan base.
It appears that the Chicago Blackhawks have assigned a bodyguard to Connor Bedard.
The man responsible for Bedard's security detail is the same individual who looked after Patrick Kane during his time with the Blackhawks. He is constantly by Bedard's side whenever Bedard steps out of the rink and into the public.
This is just one of the many changes in Bedard's life as he continues to immerse himself in the NHL and strives to become the next face of the league.
The Blackhawks are currently on the road as their season progresses. They will be in Montreal to play against the Canadiens on Saturday night, October 14th, with the game scheduled to begin at 7:00 PM Eastern Time.
