Team Postpones Game Due to a Player Tragically Passing Away
The hockey community has taken a tough hit so far this year with very many passings, today, we are saddened to announce we have lost another one.
The London Knights of the Ontario Hockey League has announce that 18 year old Abakar Kazbekov has suddenly passed away, and they will be postponing their game tonights due to the sad news.
Abakar was just getting his North American hockey career started during the 2021 season with the Knights that lead to him having a full-time roster spot this season, and he would have been NHL draft eligible next year.

Abakar has been a valued member of the team since 2021. Our thoughts are with his family, friends and teammates.
