In case you forgot how Ryan Reaves' time in New York ended this season, it was filled with weeks of him sitting in the press box being a healthy scratch, Reaves was more then frustrated due to not getting any ice time and requested a trade, where he would then be traded to the Minnesota Wild for a fifth-round draft pick, back in November.
Reaves did not leave New York happy, it was a tough way to go, and tonight he faces off against them for the first time since. Sparks are set to be lit, and Reaves was asked before the game if any of his former teammates would potentially be looking to fight?
"I'd be happy to go 2 on 1, to be honest. That's what it's gonna take," said Reaves.
Reaves sure didn't hold back, stating he'd be happy to go 2 on 1, but sadly for the Rangers they are now left without any gritty players- unless you'd like to call Jacob Trouba one.
