Many remember Andrew Hammond for his cinderella run with the Senators, way back when.
And you can argue that he hasn't exactly done anything significant since, bouncing around from team-to-team struggling to stick.
So when it was announced that Hammond was headed to Russia to play in the Kontinental Hockey League, nobody was really surprised as the bubble player gig lost it's lustre in short-order.
And recently news emerged that the NHL journeyman's KHL stint was limited to just two games.
You have to feel for the guy, as he has always been such a professional, both on and off the ice.
