Patrick Kane Says He is Excited to Play In Front of 'Great Fans' in New York and More in First Interview
The Chicago Blackhawks organization and fan base was hit with the saddest news this past week, that 16-year Chicago Blackhawks veteran Patrick Kane decided to announce his departure and use his trade request to go to the New York Rangers.
Kane joins a newly acquired Vladimir Tarasenko, and another fellow Russian, his best friend, Artemi Panarin.
Patrick Kane on reuniting with Artemi Panarin: "Today was the first time I'd seen him in a long time. Just being able to be around him and hanging out with him, he's a fun guy to be around. Definitely missed that over the past 5, 6, 7 years, whatever it's been." #Blackhawks
Kane had some more comments to say on the franchise, and is excited to play in front of 'great fans':
"An Original Six franchise, storied franchise, amazing building to play in, great fans - it's exciting."
-New York Ranger Patrick Kane
Best of luck in your new threads Kaner!
