One of Subban's Most Hated Rivlals Contemplating Signing Him to a Contract?
Boston Bruins fans and players have been through a rollercoaster of emotions this season, some of the fan base even turned on the franchise not once, but twice. Trying general manager Don Sweeney fired head coach Bruce Cassidy which erupted the organization and the NHL, the decision to fire Cassidy did not make much sense at all.
The fan base and franchise took a swing for the better when Patrice Bergeron announced he'll be making his return to the NHL after contemplating retirement, another familiar face by the name of David Krejci also signed a one-year deal with the Bruins, which felt like we were seeing a throwback reunion.
The Bruins may be making another acquisition after Joe Haggertt, the teams reporter brought up a interesting take.
Should the Boston Bruins bring in experienced D-man Keith Yandle or PK Subban for a training camp tryout as the veterans sit out in the free agent market with just weeks until NHL camps open?
Subban is starting to age and is coming off a whopping $9 million dollar deal which was deemed one of the worst contracts in the NHL, since Subban signed that deal he nearly fell off the face of the earth and lowered his production in all categories by 80% or less.
The reporter also brought up Keith Yandle, one of the oldest defenseman's in the NHL who is also coming off a league-leading worst plus minus in the NHL, with his droughtful season in Philly.
However Subban is at the point in his career that he has to understanding he has to sign a ''prove it'' contract, and will be honored to play on a top team once again.
