NHL makes a questionable decision about the start of SCF
During the playoffs, every professional sports team prefers to seek a little rest and then return to the game to avoid a disruption in their rhythm and potentially hurt their performance.
The NHL had decided to start the Stanley Cup finals on Saturday, June 3rd. The Florida Panthers have been resting for quite a while and will be at 10 days before they begin to play again which could cause all kinds of trouble for their game.
Teams like the Panthers will do everything they can to keep in game shape and try to keep up their energy to be ready for game one. Some teams will even hold actual games of scrimmage between one another and even their farm teams if they've been eliminated from the playoffs to continue the level of competing.
This series will be a good battle as both teams will throw much physicality against one another. With
Sergei Bobrovsky playing like Vezina Bob during these playoffs, That certainly gives the Panthers a distinct advantage in goal over the Vegas Golden Knights tandem of
Adin Hill and
Laurent Brossoit.
Game 1 will be held on June 3rd. Game time will be at 8:00 PM eastern
