NHL Fans Concerned as Reports of Their Head Coaches Multiple Arrests Surface
Rick Tocchet has recently been announced as the head coach of the Vancouver Canucks, and fans are not the biggest fan of him due to him being the replacement of Bruce Boudreau.
Now, fans in Vancouver are concerned regarding former arrests and charges laid in prior years to Rick Tocchet. He was arrested and found guilty in 2007 and 2011 for being involved in an illegal gambling ring as well as attempting to take an illegal lump sum of money across the border.
For the record, Rick Tocchet was arrested and guilty for his role in an illegal gambling ring in 2007. He was arrested and guilty again in 2011 of making a false declaration while taking more than $18k in cash across a border.
This has unsurprisingly sparked worry from some fans, who were already unexcited about the new bench boss.
There had to be other candidates, right?
As if Tocchet was not disliked enough in Vancouver? He will seriously have to turn this team around if he plans to be liked whatsoever.
