It was a very interesting night at the Canadian Tire Centre as the Ottawa Senators were hosting their Atlantic Division rivals the Montreal Canadiens.

The Canadiens would take the play to the Senators in the first period until a very soft call was made against the Habs that would sway momentum one way. The Senators would take over in the 2nd period and would take a 3-0 lead. This is where things got interesting, earlier in the period Canadiens Kirby Dach would get a 2 minute penalty for slashing Senators Thomas Chabot.
Then with 3 minutes left to play in the period Dach would get his 2nd penalty of the period for interference on a hit against Senators Brady Tkachuk. Dach was already frustrated due to losing the game, then taking another penalty would let the officials know it. Dach would then receive another penalty for abuse of officials giving the Senators a 4 minute powerplay.
It appears Dach called the referee a ''B****''

Dach would score the Canadiens 1st goal in the 3rd period to get the Canadiens back into the game.
Canadiens Christian Dvorak would score his 6th of the season on a delayed penalty making this a 3-2 game. However with just over 3 minutes left in the game Canadiens Jordan Harris would get called for another weak call and the Habs 7th penalty of the game, helping the Senators fend off the Canadiens with a 3-2 win.

This was definitely a cause for concern for the Canadiens who were penalized 7 times just compared to the Senators 2 penalties. This is just another game where the officiating was just atrocious.
