Is Arvid Soderblom The Goaltender Of The Future?
Though his few NHL starts have been less than stellar, Arvid Soderblom is currently leading the Rockford Icehogs to the Calder Cup Playoffs. His AHL stats look like a .918 Save Percentage and a 2.76 Goals Against Average. The bigger picture is that Arvid is 22 years old and will have to develop for a couple of seasons in Rockford, but if he can keep up the stellar play and possibly translate it to the NHL, he may be this team's anchor in net.
