The Blackhawks announced this morning that forward Jujhar Khaira will be out of action for the next 10 to 12 weeks after having back surgery yesterday.
It's been an injury-plagued season for the 27-year-old from Surrey, British Columbia who has been on LTIR since February 18.
In a December 7 game against the New York Rangers, Khaira was taken off of the ice by stretcher after getting laid out by defenseman Jacob Trouba:
Like most in the Blackhawks organization and their fan base, the 2022 season is one that Jujhar Khaira will be glad to have behind him and we wish him a speedy recovery.
