Hawks Prospect Leads NCAA in Scoring
The Blackhawks prospect pool is very deep, and this is just more proof to it.
The Blackhawks drafted
Landon Slaggert in the third round of the 2020 NHL Draft. The American born player is now 21 years old and is the Captain of Notre Dame of the NCAA.
Well, Landon was always a sleeper prospect. He performs well wherever he is, whether it's scoring 26 points in 40 games on Notre Dame or having 6 points in 5 games on the USA U20 Junior Team.
This season with the Fighting Irish, Slaggert has 7 goals in 7 games, leading the NCAA.
This is really exciting, as he is not too old and plays wing, something the Hawks need.
