Has Philip Danault's time in Los Angeles ended?
There's talk of big changes happening in the Los Angeles Kings lineup following the acquisition of Pierre-Luc Dubois. Anze Kopitar has re-signed in Los Angeles and Quinton Byfield is expected to make a significant impact soon, leaving some wondering about the future of Philip Danault.
Rumors suggest that Danault may be relegated to a lower position on the team due to the addition of PLD.
According to NHL projections, he could end up as the 3rd line center, playing alongside Trevor Moore and Viktor Arvidsson.
Danault left the Canadiens in search of a top-6 role with a new organization, which the Kings provided him with until now.
However, there are concerns about his ability to adjust to a new position with less ice time, particularly since he's used to playing heavy minutes on the power play and in the offensive zone.
