For NHL fans Gallagher and Fleury are two names synonymous with shenanigans and lots of in-game chats with the referee's.
So, surely when the pair run into one another, the theatrics aren't left on the back-burner.
And they came to a halt during Tuesday night's game, after Gallagher slid towards Fleury's net.
In a typical Fleury way, he chose to cross check Gallagher's helmet off of his head, which set Gallagher off.
Gally let the referees know about his displeasure and that was the end of it, as no infraction was called on the play.
The entire game between the Wild and Habs was basically a how to not officiate a game, as the referees did their best impression of the three blind mice, missing out on calls all night.
Certainly not suspension-worthy, however a mockery can be made of the state of league officiating early on in the 2022-23 NHL campaign.
