Former Chicago Blackhawks forward Max Domi is attempting to find his groove with his new team, the Toronto Maple Leafs, where his dad, Tie Domi, once played. However, Max's start on the score sheet hasn't been ideal, contributing very little.
Things took a turn for the worse as he engaged in a heated exchange with Florida Panthers forward
Sam Bennett. The situation escalated when Bennett blindsided Domi, unleashing a series of punches.
Despite efforts by the referees to intervene, Domi ended up taking more than 10 punches, and some to the back to the head in a disturbing fashion during tonight's game between the Toronto Maple Leafs.
As the game progresses, it's likely that there will be further developments, especially with Max Domi seemingly eager for revenge against Sam Bennett.
The altercation adds an intense layer to Max Domi's transition to the Toronto Maple Leafs, and fans will be keen to see how this storyline unfolds in the games to come.
